How much does a standby generator system cost?
It depends on generator size and the installation. We typically do turnkey projects covering electrical, plumbing, mechanical, boring, pad, permitting and inspections under one contract. Because so many factors affect the total, we offer a free consultation visit to go over your specific situation. Financing is available to break the cost into monthly payments.
How much capacity (kW) do I need for my home?
It depends on your heating system, hot water, appliances, lighting, home size and what you want powered during an outage. We do a load analysis and sizing consultation to determine the right generator.
Do I have to buy the generator from Hellweg Electric?
No. It is more convenient and safer when we provide the generator and all the services, but we will install customer-supplied generators. Many customers have provided a Honeywell generator purchased at Costco and we did a turnkey installation.
Does Hellweg Electric offer the best pricing?
